Here are the steps on how to install window air conditioners:

1. Choose the window where to attach the air conditioner.
2. Install the mounting bracket on the window selected. You need to screw one end first before screwing the other end. This way, you can adjust and level it properly before finally securing it.
3. Open the window fully and slide the air conditioning unit to the mounting brackets.
4. Close the window on top of the unit once done.
5. Pull out the extensions on the sides of the unit and fasten them to the window frame.
6. Seal the spaces between the air conditioner and the window by inserting foam.
7. Attach the drainage hose on the outer part of the unit.
8. Make sure there are no spaces between the window and the unit to prevent hot air from coming on and cool air from going out.
9. Plug in your air conditioner.
